Bud Power, 76, entered into rest on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
Mr. Power was born on September 15, 1933 in Greenville, South Carolina. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant at retirement after twenty-three years of service. Subsequent to his military career, he was employed as an Electronic Technician at Robins Air Force base for fifteen years. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-two years, Ann Owens Power, and parents, Garnett G. Power and Earline Worthy Power.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Kathryn Guyer, Perry, and Cheryl Dekalb, Warner Robins; son, Harold Power, Jr., Roswell; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, C. Larry Power, Greenville, South Carolina and Wallace E. Power, Laurens, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior. Interment will be in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069.
