Msgt. Kenneth H. Corley, Us Army (Ret.)

August 11, 1951 — November 22, 2020

A decorated Army veteran, Kenneth Harold Corley earned his heavenly wings on Sunday, November 22, 2020. He was 69 years old.

Born on August 11, 1951, in Zebulon, Georgia, Kenneth was the son of the late Harold Franklin Corley and Elinor Louise (Broadnax) Wilson. A proud patriot, Kenneth began his stellar military career serving in the infantry of the United States Army before becoming a Supply Technician, and later a Personnel Technician and an Inspector General Assistant. He was mobilized to serve in Desert Storm and Desert Shield and earned numerous medals during his time in the service. Kenneth retired as a Master Sergeant after 31 years of loyal service to his country.

Kenneth spent his days cheering on his grandchildren who were the #1 priority in his life. For many years, Kenneth enjoyed watching Northside High School Football, but loved it even more when his grandson Chandler played. He also loved watching his granddaughter Madison ride in many horse competitions. Most of all, he was a loving and unforgettable person who will be deeply missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Kassidy Wilson; stepfather, Frank Wilson; and siblings, Sandra Lee and Mark Corley.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 35 years, Tammie (Clifton) Corley; children, Sharee Land (David) and Tiffany Corley; grandchildren, Amber, Ryan, Riley, Christian, Chandler, Kallianne, Cooper, Madison, Jax; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill Corley (Lynn); Brian Corley (Karla); and step-mother; Beverly Corley.
