Msgt Kenneth L. Cunrod, Usaf (Ret)

Kenneth L. Cunrod, 77, entered into rest on Thursday, May 30, 2013.

Kenneth was born on April 22, 1936 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant and also retired from Robins Air Force Base after twenty years of Civil Service. Kenneth will be remembered as a dedicated and fervent worker who loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Joyce Marie Cunrod and parents, Leslie Virgil Cunrod and Blanche Deaver Duncan.

His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Thomas E. Cunrod and Kenneth L. Cunrod, Jr., both of Warner Robins and James L. Cunrod of Bonaire; grandchildren, Lauren Cunrod and Kenneth L. Cunrod, III, both of Warner Robins; brother, Thomas Cunrod (Judy) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; sister, Irene Metzger (Harold) of Lampeter, Pennsylvania; mother-in-law, Alta Fielding of Riverside, California; and brothers-in-law, John Fielding (Marilyn) and Kenneth Fielding (Elaine), both of Riverside, California.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Magnolia Park Mausoleum with inurnment immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
