Msgt. Kieron John Ennis, Usaf (Ret.)

July 2, 1968 — August 6, 2017

Kieron Ennis, 49, entered into rest on Sunday, August 6, 2017.

Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Kieron was the son of the late Walter J. Ennis, Jr. and Shirley A. Lipscombe Smith. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1986 and soon after joined the United States Air Force where he worked with ICBM missiles. In 2008, Kieron retired from the military with the rank of Master Sergeant.

Kieron always enjoyed being fit, and in his retirement years, worked as a personal trainer for a time. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding four-wheelers. With all of his enjoyments, Kieron was first and foremost a family man who loved spending time with them. He enjoyed watching his son play football and was always there whenever he was needed.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 29 years, Caroline Hines Ennis of Bonaire, Georgia; and sons, Eric Allen Ennis of St. Petersburg, Florida and Ethan John Ennis of Bonaire, Georgia.

A private ceremony celebrating Kieron’s life will be held at a later time in St. Petersburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Kieron to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-030, www.dav.org.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Ennis’ arrangements.
