Msgt. Robert Julian Jones, Usaf (Ret.)

Mr. Robert Jones died peacefully on January 1, 2016, in Warner Robins surrounded by family. Born in Cadwell, Georgia, Robert was the son of the late Robert Lewis and Lois Davidson Jones. After finishing high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a medical technician.
Just following his retirement from the Air Force, Robert became a Licensed Practical Nurse and was an employee of Heilemann (Pabst) Brewery for 8 years. He later went to work in Civil Service and was retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in the warehouse. Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and Our Lady of the Skies Catholic Parish, Robins Air Force Base.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Ann (Brunnhuber) Jones of Warner Robins; Robert leaves behind five children, Jeffery Jones of Florida; Kenneth Robert Jones of Warner Robins; Karen Jones Richardson of Bonaire; Mary Beth Macwilliams of Concord; Liberty Jones of Warner Robins; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three brothers, Ralph Jones of Warner Robins; Donald Jones and Glenn Jones, both of Dublin.
A Wake Service will be Monday, January 4, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a visitation following. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a committal service where Mr. Jones will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum, with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in memory of Robert Jones to either Sacred Heart Building Fund, 251 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, Ga 31088 or the Charity of Donor's Choice.
