Maddox was born on June 12, 2008 in Warner Robins, Georgia. His grandmother, Rosemary Maddox, preceded him in death.

His memory will be forever treasured by his parents, Bryan and Jennifer Crane, Bonaire; sister, Katelyn Crane, Bonaire; maternal grandparents, Ricky and Jan Maddox, Bonaire; paternal grandparents, Steve and Cathy Crane; Blue Ridge, Texas; great-grandmothers, Judith Howard and Catherine Crane, both of Blue Ridge, Texas; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
