Mamie Jo Williams

Mamie "Jo" Williams, 82, entered into rest on Sunday, February 21, 2010.

A retired self-employed cosmetologist, Mrs. Williams was born on June 2, 1927 in Pickens, South Carolina.
She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, William H. Williams, Sr., son, Robert Williams, and parents, Luke Alexander and Paralee Holcomb Alexander.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, David G. Williams, William "Billy" Williams, Jr, and Danny Williams; grandchildren, Bill Williams, III, Leslie Williams and Sgt. Dustin Williams; five great-grandchildren, and dear companion, Art Powell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Chaplain Todd Shearin officiating. The family will receive friends immediately preceding the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Bonaire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069.
