Margaret Ann "Peggy" Malto

Peggy Malto went to meet the Lord on the morning of Tuesday, July 26, 2016 while in the arms of her loving husband, Dennis. She was 67 years old.

Born on March 21, 1949 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Peggy was one of three children born to Mary Falcone Lappano and the late Alfred Lappano, Sr. She worked at Sacred Heart Catholic School for 18 years where she helped her precious Presentation Sisters as the office administrator. Peggy loved her family dearly and was a full-time wife and mother for her boys prior to working at Sacred Heart. She worked at Robins Air Force Base as a loyal civil servant like her deceased father, Alfred, Sr., worked with the USDA in Athens, and ran an online boutique, as well. Sacred Heart Catholic Church was her church home.

Peggy leaves her memory behind with her devoted husband of 46 years, Dennis Malto of Warner Robins; her loving sons, Michael Malto (Nicole) of Atlanta, Matthew Malto (Shilohe) of Warner Robins, and Jonathan Malto (Lori) of Atlanta; grandchildren, Owen, Kaiden, Sofia, and Mimi; mother, Mary Lappano of Warner Robins; siblings, Ginny Street (Alan) of Warner Robins and Alfred Lappano (Kathy) of Tampa, Florida; and nieces and nephews, Thomas, Bethany, Stephen, and David.

A Rosary will be Friday, July 29th at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Peggy to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 300 S. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
