Margaret Ann Wood

February 5, 1930 — October 11, 2021

On Monday, October 11, 2021, Margaret joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven. She was 91 years old.

Margaret was born on February 5, 1930, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Carlton and Pearl Godfrey Stewart. As Margaret would say, “the best days of my life was when my grandchildren were growing up and came to my house.” She had 13 grandchildren. Margaret loved her Savior, family, and church unconditionally and will be missed by all she has blessed throughout her time here on earth.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Willard Wood; and siblings, Eunice Coker, Helen Staten, Sarah Hinson, William “Billy” Stewart, and Eloise Baxter.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Terry Wood (Gail) of Bonaire, Tommy Wood (Tami) of Bonita Springs, Florida, Nancy Miller (Lee), of Bonaire; and Ernie Wood (Beth) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Gia Graddy, Miranda Stewart, Chad Wood, Asa Harp, Elizabeth Belinger, Lee Miller III, Bryan Miller, Bonnie Miller, Aimee Megahee, Margaret Jennings, Garrett Jennings, Amanda Stephens and Golden Jordan; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane Baker.
