Margaret "Margot" Elizabeth Brown

October 24, 1930 — December 7, 2018

Margot Elizabeth Brown, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 7, 2018, surrounded by her devoted husband of 63 years and all eight of her children.

Margot was born on October 24, 1930 to the late John A. McGrath and Margaret Doyle McGrath. She was steadfast and committed to her faith as well as a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Margot was an avid reader and fond of birdwatching. She enjoyed traveling to the family cottage in Gilead, Maine and along the way shopping to find treasures for all of her children. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Margot was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia DeVooght and Barbara Dayton.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, CMSgt Victor Brown, Sr., USAF (Ret.) of Warner Robins, Georgia; children, Geoffrey Brown (Julie) of Madison, Mississippi; Christopher Brown (Tracy Anne) of Arab, Alabama; Elizabeth “Betsy” Brown Taylor (Zane) of Destin, Florida; David Brown of Macon, Georgia; Anthony “Tony” Brown of Alpharetta, Georgia; Ellen Brown Oblen (Michael) of Milton Georgia; Victor “Buddy” Brown, Jr. (Rosalind) of Los Angeles, California; and Colin Brown (Kathryn) of Centerville, Georgia; grandchildren, Katelynn Brown, Hilary Brown Winters (Chase), Madeleine Brown, Grace Brown, Caroline Brown, Rachel Brown, Ian Oblen, Jack Oblen, Joshua Oblen, Aidan Browne, Justin Brown (Chandler), Jordan Brown, Keagan Pumphrey and Sam Pumphrey; and great grandchildren, Adriana Brown, Eli Smith and Phoenix Jackson Winters.

A Rosary will be said on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with a Visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mrs. Margot Brown to the Forward In Faith Building Fund at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 S. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Brown’s arrangements.
