Margaret "Peggy" Bishop

Margaret "Peggy" Bishop, 83, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 due to complications from peripheral vascular disease.

Peggy was born on January 9, 1931, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She proudly served her country in the United States Army as an LPN. Peggy then went to work at Ft. Lewis Thrift Shop for 30 years. She moved to Warner Robins 10 years ago from Olympia, Washington. Peggy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. She was a stubborn Irishman who loved animals, shopping, traveling, music, wine, and Catholic Daughters. Peggy enjoyed friends at Antebellum Grove Senior Living, Golden Hearts of Sacred Heart, and the Wellston Senior Center.

Her loving husband, Wilmont Bishop; and parents, John and Stella Smith Dugan, preceded her in death.

Peggy's memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Donna; son-in-law, Deacon Jim Hunt; adopted children, Diane Stephens, Etta Kelly, and Jim Hughes; nieces and nephews, especially Terry, Margie and Debbie; and her grandpets.

A Rosary will be said Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with inurnment at a later date in Andersonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Margaret "Peggy" Bishop to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 251 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
