Margaret Pipik Kurtiak

Margaret Pipik Kurtiak, 92, entered into rest on Sunday, May 3, 2009.

Margie Kurtiak was born on October 31, 1916 in Vesta7-Stockton, Pennsylvania, and has lived in Warner Robins since 1948. A devoted wife and mother, her favorite hobbies were cooking, homemaking, woodworking, gardening and sewing. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kurtiak; parents, Michael Pipik, Sr., and Anna Uhrin Pipik; seven sisters and two brothers.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Jonathan Kurtiak, Bonaire; sisters, Mildred Azmar and Jeannette Zupko, both of Metuchen, New Jersey; and God-child, Anna Lee Gilleece, Spring Valley, New York.

A scripture service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation following until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monsignor Fred Nijem officiating. A committal service will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Building Fund, 300 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins GA 31099.
