Marilyn "Lawanda" Mullis

Marilyn Mullis, 69, passed away at the Houston Medical Center on Monday, April 30, 2018.

Marilyn was born on August 1, 1948 in Macon, Georgia to the late Harry Lee Mullis and Mary Oliver Tompkins. She grew up around Macon and Warner Robins, following her marriage in 1968, she moved to Stafford Springs, Connecticut. In 1992, Marilyn moved back to Warner Robins where she lived her faith helping in caring for her mother and helping and loving others.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Lisa Lichanec of Burlington, Vermont and Danny Lichanec of Stafford Springs, Connecticut; granddaughter, Sarai Lichanec; brother, Harris Warren Mullis (Pam) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and many other family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Marilyn “LaWanda” Mullis to the Warner Robins Animal Shelter, 208 Stalnaker Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
