Marion S. Grace

Marion S. Grace, 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in her home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bibb County. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Georgia State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, In Care of Joyce Patton 8178 Seven Oaks DR Jonesboro, GA.

Mrs. Grace was born on February 7, 1921 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. Mrs. Grace was a 1942 graduate of East Carolina Teachers College. She retired from Houston County Board of Education where she taught at Warner Robins High School, Rumble Middle School, and Tabor Middle School. She was a member of the DAR, Colonial Dames of XVIIC and the Houston County Retired Educators Association. Her husband, Milton Grace, Jr., parents, Charles T. Smith and Mary Lou Morgan Smith and brother, Thomas Morgan Smith preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Virginia G. Lingelbach (Hamilton Holland), Bonaire, Irma G. Moore (Jerry R. Bowden), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Kimberly N. Sanders (Hunt), Byron; Karla Nicholson, Warner Robins; Joe Mullendore (Karen), Macon; Leigh “Dolee” Lumpkin (Chris), Macon; David M. Moore (Tasha), Pensacola, FL; Regina M. Kiefer (Jeff), Warner Robins; twelve great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Grace Cowart, Snellville, GA.
