Marjorie Louise Koontz

Marjorie Louise Koontz, 93, entered into rest on Thursday, September 4, 2014.

Marjorie was born on January 20, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio. She retired as a manager from JC Penny Corporation and was also the assistant secretory at Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster, Ohio. Marjorie was of the Christian faith. In her free time she loved gardening, being outside, knitting, crocheting, and was in senior ceramics for twelve years where she made her own urn.

Her husband, Jesse Harold Koontz, brothers, Ralph Martin, Albert "Billy" Martin, and Jerry Martin, and parents, Albert and Catherine Stropes Martin, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Linda Christensen (Roger) of Warner Robins; granddaughters, Kristi Potter and Lisa James both of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Nickolaus; great great grandchild, Aidan; brothers, Robert N. Martin of Whitehall, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 3:00p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home Chapel.
