Mark Chandler Brantley

Mark Brantley, 57, was born on August 8, 1957, in Dublin, GA. He was the son of Jack Willard Brantley and Shirley Patricia Keen Brantley. He joined the US Army after graduating from Dublin High School in 1976. He later joined the Army Reserves and the National Guard retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He was employed by Parker Aerospace in Dublin for 21 years, then Martin Marietta, and most recently, Lowe's in Warner Robins were he has lived for the last six years.

Mark was a real people person and enjoyed talking to everyone. He was fun and entertaining to be around. Mark could always find a little humor. His interests included antiques, coin collecting, lumber-jacking, politics, the stock market, fishing, and reading books on the Civil War, the Old West, and action/detective novels. He died at home just before midnight on November 22, 2020, after a three-month battle with glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Mark was predeceased by his mother, Pat Brantley of Dublin.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Noelle Brantley; daughter, Taylor Logan Brantley; father, Jack Brantley of Warner Robins; brothers, Kendall "Ken" Brantley of Decatur; and Paul J. Brantley of Alabama; and half-sister, Jacquelynn "Jackie" Brantley Brown of Griffin.

At the family's requests, all services are private.
