Martha J. Daub

Martha J. Daub, devoted wife, loving mother, doting great-grandmother, and wonderful homemaker entered into rest on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the age of 73.

Martha was born on September 4, 1941 in Hazlehurst, Georgia and was of the Protestant faith. She loved her family dearly and held a special place in her heart for all of her grandchildren. Martha always looked forward to holiday seasons when all of the family would come home. She was a very active and much-loved member of the Bosom Buddies cancer survivor group in Warner Robins. Martha enjoyed shopping and was an avid collector of angels. Now, Heaven has gained another.

Her stepson, Stephen Todd Daub; parents, Ivey and Martha Walls Hughes; and brothers, James, Vernon, Howard and Larry Hughes, preceded her in death.

Martha's memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Gene C. Daub of Warner Robins; children, Robert Dewain Carter (Robin) of Hawkinsville, Stacy Necole Brantley (Mike) of Kingsland, John Wesley Carter of Cochran, and Jeffery Howard Carter of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Alexandria Claire Brantley of New York City, New York, Martha Katherine Carter of Hawkinsville, Victoria Leigh Brantley of Atlanta, John Wesley Carter II of Warner Robins, McKenzie Necole Daub of Gray, Cynthia Jean Brantley of Kingsland, Taylor Carter, Tyler Carter, and Donovan Trevor Carter, all of Warner Robins, and Jacob Michael Brantley of Kingsland; great-granddaughter, Bryson Madison of Gray; brothers, Johnny Hughes (Elsie), Bill Hughes (Lois), and Wayne Hughes (Mae); and several adoring nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Martha to Georgia Cancer Friends Foundation, 115 Margie Drive, Suite D, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
