Martha Paulette Stokes Stinson

Martha Paulette Stokes Stinson, 59, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Paulette was born on September 12, 1954 in Savannah, Georgia to the late H.L. and Martha Stokes. She was a 1972 graduate of Northside High School. She was of the Baptist faith. Paulette worked as an Insurance Agent at H.L. Stokes Insurance Company. Passionate about childcare, she later operated a daycare. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Paulette's kindness and sweet disposition will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Enjoying all aspects of community service, she enjoyed volunteering for the Arthritis Foundation and being a former member of the Civitan Club. Her parents, and one brother, Lamar Stokes, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of forty years, William H. Stinson, Kathleen, Georgia; daughter, Janey M. Stinson; grandson, Logan James Stinson, both of Lavonia, Georgia; step-daughter, Tammy Lovette, Tifton, Georgia; siblings, Jessi Bush (Travis), Kathleen, Georgia; Linda Owens (Don), Fort Worth, Texas; Elaine Wooley (Don); Dennis Stokes (Leanne), all of Warner Robins, Georgia; sister-in-law, Teri Stokes, Madison, Alabama; uncle, Pete Stokes (Brenda), Perry, Georgia; aunt, Betty Stokes, Byron, Georgia; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at The Assembly at Warner Robins. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the church, from 1:30 p.m. until time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
