Martin Christopher Matthews

Martin Christopher "Chris" Matthews, 49, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

Chris was born on July 3, 1963 in Sarasota, Florida to the late Winford Bertram Matthews and Maudys Mae Martin Matthews. He was of the Presbyterian faith. A Carpenter by trade, Chris was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty four years, Donna Garrison Singleton, Macon; children, Richard Singleton, Gordon; Gregory Singleton (Summer), Matthew Singleton (Heather), Jonathan Singleton, all of Macon; Shane Matthews, Conyers; sister, Janice Stewart, Hendersonville, North Carolina; brother, Steven Matthews, Savannah; grandchildren, Desiree, Ashley, Josalyn, Andrew, Natalie, and Mason; several loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, the family will greet visitors at the funeral home until 5:00 p.m.
