Mary Frances Jackson entered into rest on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.
Mrs. Jackson was born on July 7, 1926 in Furman, South Carolina to the late Floyd and Natalie Long Smith. She was a retired dietician from Tabor Junior High School and loved to garden, cook and read. Church was very important to Mrs. Jackson. She was a much-loved member of Central Baptist Church where she enjoyed ministering to the ladies of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, William Harry Jackson of Warner Robins; daughter, Kelli Hulon (Chuck) of Warner Robins; sons, John F. Wendelschaefer (Linda) of Waverly Hall, Georgia and Richard A. Jackson (Suann) of Helena, Missouri; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Law Enforcement United, P.O. Box 36, Lightfoot, VA 23090 and Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
