Mary James Forehand

Mary James Forehand, 88, entered into rest on Saturday, October 1, 2011.

Mrs. Forehand was born on July 8, 1923 in Ideal, Georgia. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. For many years Mary worked at the Robins Air Force Base Restaurant and the Civilian Club. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary was also an avid gardener. She was the last of ten siblings. Her husband, James Robert Forehand, and her parents, Ernest and Mildred Hall James, also preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughters, Shirley Shave (Gary); Tammy Jesmer (Paul); Ruby Seaman; grandchildren, Samantha Shave Patterson (Russ); Brandy Shave Farrell (Scott), Billy Shave, Nichole Leschke, J. D. Leschke; great grandchildren, Jake, Jackson, and Cael Farrell, Sarah James Patterson and Chase Patterson, Gracie and Camden Shave, Dakota Adams, Miranda Adams, Elizabeth Leschke, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday evening, October 3, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
