Mary Jo Bell

Mary Jo Bell, 92, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Mary Jo was born in Jesup, Georgia, to the late Joe H. and Theo Lucille Horton, on March 31, 1928. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she loved to cook and was an avid gardener. Mary Jo also enjoyed going to the beach and traveling to many countries in her 92 years. All Saints Episcopal Church was her church home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Bell.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving son, Scott Lingelbach (Kem) of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Scott Lingelbach, Jr., Savannah Eisner (Zach), and Ashley Crooms (Cal); and brother, Robert Horton (Jo) of Warner Robins.

Due to Covid-19, the family will celebrate Mary Jo’s life with a private memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mary Jo Bell to All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 1708 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
