Mary Joyce Rodney

Mary J. Rodney, 74, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.

Mrs. Rodney was born on November 18, 1935 in Danville, Virginia. A homemaker, she was devoted to her family, and was a member of The Church of God. Her parents, Alvin W. Roberson and Florence Ashworth Roberson, preceded her in death.

She will live in the hearts of her husband of fifty-six years, the Reverend Curtis Rodney, Warner Robins; son, Jody Rodney (Lisa); daughter, Teresa Rigby (Robert); grandchildren, Christy Williams (Keith), Melissa Macorkindale (Scott), and Michael Rodney; great-grandchildren, Brett Williams and Ava Macorkindale; sister, Loretta Staton (Fred); brother, Eddie Roberson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Church of God, 202 Sylvia Place, Warner Robins GA 31093.
