Mary Kate Wright

Kate Wright, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.

Mrs. Wright was born on October 23, 1931, in Cordele. A member of Centerville Baptist Church, she had an appreciation for art work and enjoyed crafts, particularly sewing. She was a wonderful cook who published a cookbook. Her parents, Walter Smith and Flonnie Smith, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Willis Wright Jr., Centerville; son, Johnny Wright (Joy), and daughter, Phyllis Toler; grandchildren, Brian Toler (Marie), Jamie Bowie (Chris), Erin Ishee, (Jacob) and Jenna Wright; great-grandchildren Kayleigh Minyard, Jackson Ishee and Brooke Bowie. Sisters, Lynell Hayslip(Onzelo), and Barbara Hayslip.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Parkway Memorial Mausoleum, Reverend Mobley Cross will be officiating. Memorials may be given to Vista Care Hospice, 750 Baconsfield Drive, Suite 115, Macon GA 31211
