Mary Lee Segreto

Mary Segreto, 73, joined her beloved husband of 48 years, TSgt. Joseph Paul “Joe” Segreto, USAF (Ret.) in heaven on the afternoon of Thursday, October 26, 2017.

Mary was born in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of the late Lee Franklin and Lillie Mae Bussey Black. She retired from Holiday Inn with over 25 years of being a dedicated housekeeper and spent her final years there as the head housekeeper. Not content to “sit around” after retiring, she went to work in the lunchroom at Warner Robins Middle School for eight years where she made many friends.

Mary was a faithful longtime member of Central Baptist Church and loved Braves baseball, sewing, family gatherings, supporting the military, and playing Bunko. Her sweet personality and love for Jesus Christ will be carried on in the lives of everyone who knew her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving sons, Joseph Segreto, Jr. (Gera) of Fort Valley and Michael Segreto (Jennifer) of Bonaire; granddaughters, Erika Shorrock (Clinton) of Bonaire and Amber Hardison (Shawn) of Kathleen; great-grandsons, Brayden Segreto and Cameron Meador, both of Bonaire and Wyatt Hardison of Kathleen; sisters, Anita Griffin and Janice Bohannon; brother, Tom Black; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Mary will be laid to rest in a graveside funeral service on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. Bob Dilks will officiate.
