Mary Ruth Thompson, 88, entered into rest on Monday, May 20, 2013.
Mary was born on December 7, 1923 in Gray, Georgia and was a wonderful and devoted homemaker. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church, and loved baking, sewing, gardening and crocheting. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Allan M. Thompson in 1986; and her parents, Otis and Maggie Vinson Batchelor.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughters, Joann Thomas (Richard) of Bonaire, Bobbie Mucher (Gary) of Bonaire, and Pat Oehrlien (Frederick) of Columbus; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Magnolia Park Cemetery with interment immediately following.
