Mary Waites

Bonaire – Mary Waites, 79, died Saturday, December 29 at her home. Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 1, in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waites was born in Lindale, Georgia. She was retired from civil service at Robins Federal Air Force Base. She was a member of the New Covenant Church of God in Perry. Her husband, William L. Waites, parents, Arthur and Ida Hooks, and daughter, Joan Robinette preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Hester, Bonaire, GA; sons, Larry Waites, Gasden, AL, Bruce Waites, Sr., Perry, Terry Waites and daughter-in-law, Kay Waites, both of Clanton, AL; sisters, Virginia Lawrence, Pensacola, FL and Margie Proctor, Macon, GA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
