Mathew Edward Majka

Mathew Edward Majka, 13, joined the Angels in Heaven on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.

Mathew was born on July 29, 2000 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was a member of The Rain Church and a student at Huntington Middle School. Mathew bowled with the youth at Robins Air Force Base where he was an avid bowler. Mathew often spoke of following in his grandfather's footsteps by serving his country in the United States Air Force. He dreamed of being a Pilot. His smile, strength, determination, and loving ways will be missed by all who knew him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving father and mother, Michael and Sharla Majka; sister, Lillian Majka, all of Bonaire; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Antoinette Majka, Warner Robins; aunt, Joanna Palmeter, Centerville; and cousins, Ice and Storm Palmeter.

A Memorial Service celebrating Mathew's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at The Rain Church located at 257 Gunn Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church and immediately following the service.
