Matthew Sisson, 34, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Matthew was born on May 12, 1983 in Warner Robins, Georgia and graduated from Warner Robins High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, and NASCAR. Matthew’s fun-loving personality and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him.

His father, Charles Rondall “Chuck” Sisson, Jr.; his sister, Sarah Melissa Sisson; his maternal grandparents, Gene and Mary Jane Peterman; and his uncle, James “Jim” Broome, all preceded him in death.

Matthew leaves his memory behind with his loving children, Robin and Dylan Sisson, both of Tennessee; mother, Bonnie Sisson of Fort Valley; paternal grandparents, Charles Rondall Sisson, Sr. and Ruth “Annette” Taylor Sisson of Copperhill, Tennessee; aunts, Nancy Broome of Byron and Carla Norrell (Tony) of Fort Valley; and cousin, Marla Norrell of Fort Valley.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Cleghorn officiating. Matthew will be laid to rest in Sisson Family Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Georgia on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Sisson’s arrangements.
