Mattie Mckinney

Mattie McKinney, 85, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015.

Mattie was born on September 21, 1929 in Rock Hill, South Carolina to the late Hezekiah and Eva Douglas McKinney. She was a nurse for many years at Oceanview Nursing Home in Queens, New York, before moving to Warner Robins in 2008. In her spare time Mattie enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, making doll clothes, and cooking. She was the Mother and member of Christian Fellowship Church. Mattie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend; she will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Larry Quintyne (Melanie) of Macon, Lawrence Perry Thompson, Sandra Thompson, Alicia Rogers (Mark), Brenda Thompson, Doris Thompson, all of Warner Robins; sister, Doretha Walls of Maryland; grandchildren, Linda, Larry, Mark, Bria, Isaiah, Christina, Shamiyah, Sakeyvious, Marquell;7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Mattie will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
