Melissa A. Davis Doremus

Melissa Ann Davis Doremus, 33, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Mrs. Doremus was born on August 28, 1984 in Warner Robins, Georgia and attended Warner Robins High School. She was a wonderful daughter, loving sister, and a caring mother. She was preceded in death by her father, James Franklin Davis, Sr.; and her brother, Brian Harper.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Charles David Doremus; her mother, Maria Davis; her children, Brianna Doremus, Braylon Doremus, Baxton Williams, Bryson Doremus, and Brantley Cappas, all of Warner Robins; her siblings, Kim Chlovitti of Missouri City, Texas, Robbie Davis of China, Derreck Harper of Ashburn, Georgia, and James F. Davis of Macon; and her step-father, Eddie Windham of Kathleen.

Visitation with Ms. Doremus’s family will be Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Reverend Lee Sawyer officiating. Following the service, Ms. Doremus will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefitting Melissa Doremus. These gifts can be made payable to McCullough Funeral Home with “Melissa Doremus Memorial Fund” written in the memo line.
