Melissa Ann Barber

Melissa Barber, 54, entered into rest on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Melissa was born on May 22, 1963 in Sacramento, California, a twin daughter to the late James Paul and Marie Ann Messik Barber. She attended Northside High School and made being a stay at home her life’s career. Melissa was an avid animal lover and enjoyed collecting porcelain figurines.

In addition to her parents, Melissa was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Melody Marie Sorrow.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Tonya Janisch of Warner Robins, Edward Softcheck of Pensacola, Florida, and Jessica Villareall of Centerville; two grandchildren; and siblings, Paul Luther Barber (Pamela) of Macon and Tracy Lee Brooks (John) of Crawford County.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Ms. Barber’s arrangements.
