Melissa Jo Coston

Melissa Jo Coston, 65, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

Melissa was born on September 13, 1949 in Middletown, Ohio to the late James Harold and Bonnie Clark Francis. She held various positions in hospitals and nursing facilities throughout Middle Georgia and was most recently a cashier at Kroger. Melissa was a much-loved member of New Seasons Worship Center in Dry Branch where she was known for her unending kindness. Each Sunday, she would welcome and hug everyone. Melissa also enjoyed painting.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, in addition to her parents.

Melissa's memory will forever be treasured by her adoring children, Earl Ervin Aldridge (Kelly) of Borden, Indiana, Misty Michelle Coston of Macon and Sean O'Neil Coston of Charlestown, Indiana; grandchildren, Aspen Will, and Summer, Landon, Brandon and Xavier Aldridge; sister, Jerry Merryweather; brothers, Jim and Jeff Francis; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at New Seasons Worship Center with interment following in New Seasons Worship Cemetery in Dry Branch, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
