Mervin Durham

Mervin Durham, 79, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007.

Mr. Durham was born on September 10, 1927 in Conyers, Georgia. Mervin was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a procurement officer. He was of the Methodist faith. A man of many accomplishments, he was a member of the V.F.W., Landings Golf Club, and the Association of Old Crows. His wife, Eppie Holland Durham, and his parents, Marion Frederick and Gathie Jane Mathis Durham, preceded him in death.

Survivors include children, Tony Durham (Patty) and Sharon Singletary (Robert), all of Warner Robins; four grandchildren, Stacey Durham, Warner Robins; Casey Lanier (Trey), NE; Jessi Singletary, Ethan Singletary, Warner Robins; and siblings, Leeodis Durham, Barnesville; Wyenita Chappell, Griffin; Charles Hughlon Durham, Griffin; Oliver Lamar Durham, Conley; Ronnie Benjamin Durham, Meansville; Becky Ann Durham, Forsyth; Marilyn Yvonne Cordeiro, Conyers; and Euel Michael Durham, Sunnyside.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice 103 Westridge Drive Warner Robins, GA 31088.
