Michael "Mike" Wells

On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 6, 2018, Mike Wells, 55, passed away at his home surrounded by his family.

Mike was born on August 3, 1962 in Macon, Georgia. Following his graduation from Griffin High School in 1981, he began his career at Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics Technician where he worked until his retirement. Mike was an active outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and anything that could be done outside. However, as a very devoted husband and family man, his greatest joy came from time spent with his family especially his grandchildren who were his whole world.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Wells, and infant brother, Mark Wells.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 35 years, Gina Wells of Bonaire; children, Matthew Wells (Hannah) of Bonaire, Macie Dyke (John) of Byron, Micah Wells of Bonaire; grandchildren, Nolan and Eva Wells; mother, Edna Wells of Warner Robins; siblings, Geoffrey Wells (Kathy) of Griffin, Terry Wells, Marilyn Tucker (Billy) of Bonaire, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the Chapel of McCullough.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Wells’ arrangements.
