Michael Singleton

November 2, 1973 — December 7, 2021

The most amazing husband, father and son, Michael Singleton, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

A Middle Georgia native, Michael was born on November 2, 1973, in Perry, Georgia. He met the love of his life, Hannah, and together they embarked on a once in a billion real love story for 22 years. In their happy home, they had seven wonderful children and helped raise their nieces and nephews as if they were their own. The whole family loved to fish, hunt, play board games, and enjoy all aspects of the outdoors with Michael. He enjoyed supporting and assisting with their sports teams alongside his favorite coach, Hannah. He was the life of the party and loved making everyone laugh with his quick wit and funny personality. As Hannah quickly gave Michael the adoring title and nickname “Boyfriend,” many others also playfully and adoringly called him by this loving sentiment as well. Although Michael was hilarious, he was also very intelligent and loved to read.

A tremendous patriot, Michael served in the United States Army and was proud to be an American. He went on to work for Cemex Cement Inc. where he built even more friendships over a 15-year span with several co-workers. The multi-talented Michael was also a remarkable carpenter. If Hannah could dream it, then Michael would build it. Most recently, Michael and Hannah owned their own businesses, Me, Him, & Them Tents and More, LLC and Steeple Creek in Haynesville, Georgia. Together with their businesses, they were able to create magic for other’s celebrations and events.

All will remember his smile and his legacy will continue through the many lives he impacted during his too-short time here on earth.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Hannah Singleton; children, Laura Kathryn, Roxie Colleen, Michael Otis, Thomas Hutto, Mary Elle, Lonnie Mac, and Rebecca Fain, all of Haynesville; parents, Bobby Lee Singleton and Marilyn Hutto Singleton of Haynesville, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Trey and Tyler McClintic, William Reagan, Paige McClintic, LilliAnn Smith, Micah Carl McClintic; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lonnie and Colleen McClintic; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jenny and Shawn Millward, Katy and Craig Smith, and Micah McClintic; as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents Otis and Annie Hutto and William and Ida Vera Singleton; grandparents-in-law, Thomas and Beverly Balue and Kathryn McClintic; and brother-in-law, Fain McClintic.
