Mike Abston

James Michael Abston, 59, entered into rest on November 20, 2016.

Mike was born on February 9, 1957 in Perry, Georgia and was of the Christian faith. On Saturday afternoons in the fall, Mike could always be found cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Mike was a 32nd degree Mason in the Tyrian Lodge and a Shriner with the Al Sihah Shrine Temple. An avid motorcyclist, Mike had a special affinity for Harley Davidson bikes. His father, Alvie Lee Abston, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving mother, Betty Phillips Abston of Perry; sisters, Linda Abston Sorrow (Buddy) of Perry and Diane Abston Wright (Glenn) of Warner Robins; nephew, David A. Sorrow of East Dublin; niece, Lisa B. Moss (Randy) of Perry; and great-nephews Payton Moss and Brannen Moss.

All funeral services will be private.
