Mike Daniel Jones

In the early morning hours of Friday, December 2, 2016, Mike Jones, went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was 57 years old.

Mike was born on October 24, 1959 in Macon, Georgia to the late Charles and Vera Jones. He attended Southwest High School in Macon. Through the years, he impacted the lives of many young men as a Little League Baseball coach. He was also well-known for his work with the Warner Robins Police Department as a volunteer for their Haunted Houses each fall. Mike had recently retired from his job in the automotive repair industry, and was looking forward to spending more time in front of his backyard grill and continuing his long-standing tradition of playing Santa Claus with the Macon Jaycees. He was also very active with the Brothers in Arms Cancer Support Group.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Nola Jones of Bonaire; son, Wesley Jones (Miranda) of Macon; brothers, Kenny Jones (Bonnie) of Byron; Chuck Jones (Lynn) of Macon; several nieces and nephews; one great-nephew, Jaxon; brothers-in-law, Roy Peavy; Richard Peavy (Sherida); as well as his fur babies, Max, Coco, and Nikki.

Visitation with Mike's family will be Monday, December 5, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Mike will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mike Daniel Jones to Humane Society of Houston County, P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, GA 31095.
