Mildred Delois Mcclendon

November 11, 1946 — April 28, 2018

Ms. Mildred Delois McClendon was born on November 11, 1946, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Joe Daniels, Sr. and Curlie Mae Spradley Butler. She was married to the late Norman McClendon, Jr. of Moultrie, Georgia. Mildred transitioned from this life on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 102 Brooke Court, Warner Robins, Georgia. Mildred was a faithful member of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church where she joined in June of 2003. It was there she attended Christian Enrichment, Wednesday night Bible Study, and Sunday Service.

She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, fishing, playing softball, singing in the choir, and spending time with family and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bo Daniels, Floyd Daniels, Freddy Daniels, and Bobby Daniels; sisters, Ester Hightower, Ida Ranger, Margie Blakley, Wilma Jean Daniels; daughter, Teresa Victoria Harris, and grandsons, Eddie S. Martin and Arius G. Martin.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Debra Martin Henry of Moultrie, Cheryl McClendon, Shandanh Thomas, Tosheiha McClendon, all of Warner Robins; sister, Floria Hanks (Ellis, Jr.) of Leesburg; brothers, Joe Daniels (Shirley) of McCrae, Odell Daniels of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Larsco Daniels of Moultrie; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Irma McClendon; brother-in-law, Wayne McClendon; sister-in-laws, Shirley Jordan (Moses), Betty Walker (Eddie), and Glenda McClendon, all of Moultrie; special friend, Evergreen Spradley; friends of the family, Eric R. Collins and Lamarr Wiley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church. Following the service, Mildred will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Mildred Delois McClendon to Hospice Care Options, 306 N. Davis Dr. Suite C, Warner Robins, GA 31093.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Ms. McClendon’s arrangements.
