Mildred Hutto Brown

June 27, 1930 — March 29, 2018

Mildred Brown, 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2018.

Mildred was born on June 27, 1930 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Henry and Annie Hughes Hutto. Mildred was a loving homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church for many years and more recently of Rockdale Baptist Church in East Conyers, Georgia. Mildred had a servant’s heart and always put everyone else before herself. In her spare time, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, sewing, and reading. However, her greatest joy was found in time spent with her beloved family and friends.

Her loving husband, William Mosby Brown, and daughter, Carol Stephenson, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Cathy Ingle (Oscar) of Conyers, David Brown (Sue Ridsdale) of Knightdale, North Carolina, Janet Lester (Steve) of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Shelly Garvin (Matthew), Jamie Stephenson, Andrew Stephenson (Nina), Amy Bryant (Joey), Lisa Joy Stephenson, Laura Ingle, Gavin Stephenson, Cody Lester, Dylan Lester, Katie Rice (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Grace Garvin, James Garvin, Anne Garvin, Jonathan Garvin, Emily Garvin, Mary Garvin, Caroline Garvin, Malaia Stephenson, Colton Stephenson, Judson Bryant, and son-in-law, Jim Stephenson (Deb) of Plant City, Florida.
