Mildred Mary Ellan Green

September 18, 1930 — July 18, 2022

Green family matriarch, Mildred Mary Ellan Green, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 18, 2022, at the age of 91. She was preceded by her beloved husband, Thomas E. Green, her grandson, Wesley Thomas Britt, her parents, J.B. and Nina Mae Bond, siblings, Laverne Parramore and C.L. Bond, and others who had gone before.

Born in Thomasville, Georgia on September 18, 1930, Mildred was a full-time wife, mother, grandmother/MeMaw, great-grandmother and homemaker; her life revolved around her family. She was faithful in her dedication to the Lord and a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her circle of friends, too, whether it be on short outings or going on trips. Her legacy as the heart of the family, loyal friendship, and unconditional love will continue to bless generations to come.

Mildred is survived by her loving children, Everett Green (Lynn) of Warner Robins, Elaine Johnson (Charlie) of Kathleen and Eston Green (Cheryl) of New Market, AL; grandchildren, Elisabeth Griffith (Bob) of Warner Robins and Charis Brassell (David) of Orlando, FL, Rebekah Davis (Grayson) of Marble Falls, TX, Katie Green of New York, NY, Ethan Green (Janna) of Macon, Seth Allen Green and Nathan Green, both of Warner Robins, Daniel Britt (Megan) of Clemmons, NC, Ashley Johnson of Perry, Haley Jones (Keaton) of Bonaire, Luke Green (Carson) of Harvest, AL, Jordan Green of Huntsville, AL and Sarah Ellan Green of New Market, AL; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn, James, Lily, Ben, Beckett, Crosby, Lydia, Pierce, Jacqueline, Madeleine, Cameron, Jesse, Neviah, K.J. and Mary Thomas.

Visitation with Mildred’s family will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Senter officiating. Mildred will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mildred to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
