Miller B. Turner

Miller B. Turner, 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.

Mr. Turner was born on March 21, 1933 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late James Frank Turner, Sr., and Marie Price Turner. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean conflict. Miller retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base after thirty years of dedicated employment as an Aircraft Mechanic. He enjoyed running, tinkering, being outdoors, and anything related to aircraft. His parents, his wife of fifty one years, Dolorese Brown Turner, and two brothers preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Denise Turner, Lexington, South Carolina; sister, Katherine Nicholson, Winchester, Virginia; special friend, Patti White, Lexington, South Carolina; grandson, Cal White; and a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, April 13, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at his daughter's residence in Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A., Macon, Georgia 31201.
