Minister James Jervey Bradley, Iii

August 8, 1972 — May 22, 2018

Minister James Jervey Bradley, III was born August 8, 1972 in Charleston, South Carolina. He was the second of two sons born to James Jervey Bradley Jr. and Patricia Duggins Bradley. James joined the United States Air Force September 10, 1990. During his 25 years of service, he was stationed at multiple bases in the United States and overseas. In January 2001, while stationed at Adana, Turkey he met the love of his life, Jacquelyn. The two were wed November 30, 2002.
Following their nuptials, the family moved to RAF Lakenheath, England in 2004 where they became active members of New Beginnings International (NBI) under the pastoral leadership of Warren D. Choice. Jay’s mission in life was to do the will of God. His obedience in serving in the Parking Lot Ministry earnestly set him apart and in 2005, he answered the call to become ordained as a Deacon. He continued growing spiritually, setting the Men’s Ministry on fire as their dynamic leader and in 2007, he became a licensed Minister. He continued to serve NBI faithfully until 2011, when the family received orders to Robins Air Force Base.

It was during this assignment that God led the Bradley Family to join Word In Season Ministries (WISM) in Warner Robins, GA under the leadership of Pastor Mack and Co-Pastor Freida McCullough. Jay continued serving God and His people in a mighty way, dutifully balancing his career, home, and church life while completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice College and Seminary. His love and faithfulness to Christ was evident to anyone who encountered him and in 2015, Jay became a licensed Minister at WISM. He was an active servant, heavily involved in the church, leading the Men’s Ministry (Soul Brothers), serving on the Marriage Ministry and as one of the leaders in the church, until he was called to leave his earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bernice Suggs and his paternal grandparents, James and Helen Bradley.

Jay Bradley’s memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 15 years, Jacquelyn I. Bradley; son, Diaz G. Boone; daughter, Michal T. Bradley; parents, James and Mickey Bradley, Patricia Bradley; mother in law, Addie Moore; siblings, Michael (Terri) Bradley, Pamela Bradley, Kathy (Mark) Suber and Wendy Lovin; god-daughters, Cornelia Ford Ardoin and Shillae Worthy; in-laws Jimmy and Gloria Boone, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends.
