Warner Robins – Minnie Lou Jones Cross, 100, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2005. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2005, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held in Central Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. followed by her interment in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Joy in the Journey 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA, 31088, or Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mrs. Cross was born on August 08, 1905 in Dooly County, Georgia. She was a long-time resident of Warner Robins and a member of Central Baptist Church. Also a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, Mrs. Cross was a friend to many. Her parents, James Jones and Ida Jones Williams; daughter, Frances Cooley; and son, Floyd Cross preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Clarence (Geraldine) Cross, Arabi, GA; Pat House, Fernandina Beach, Fl; Louise (Cicero) Canady, Perry, GA; Ruth Warner, Doctors Inlet, Fl; Reba Quinones, Warner Robins, GA; Betty (Gerald) Pope, Orange Park, FL; Evelyn (Jim) Reeves, Roopville, GA; James ( Margaret) Cross, Hayesville, NC; John (Kay) Cross; Dr. Marie Shafe, Winter Springs, FL; Fred (Wendy) Cross, Ackworth, GA; sisters, Evelyn Grimm, Jacksonville, Fl; Ruby Helms, Thomaston, GA; thirty-seven grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.
