September 9, 1969 — November 16, 2021

After eight long months, Miranda Shiver Glenn lost her battle with cancer on the morning of Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was 52 years old.

A Middle Georgia native, Miranda was born in Macon, Georgia, on September 9, 1969. She was the daughter of Franklin L. and Carol Smith Shiver. Miranda was a proud graduate of Warner Robins High School. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family members and fur babies. She was also an avid Auburn Tigers and Dallas Cowboys football fan. Miranda was dearly loved and will be tremendously missed.

Miranda was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Glenn; grandparents, John Calvin Smith, and Tommy and Alma Meservey; aunts, Angela Skipper Stake, Marie Shiver Varnadoe; uncles, Charles G. Meservey, Joel Brooks, and Emory Wingo.

Miranda’s memory will forever be treasured by her parents, Franklin L. and Carol Smith Shiver of Byron; maternal grandmother, Elsie Smith; paternal grandmother, Bea Meservey; fiancé, Greg Bush; aunts, Gaile Brooks of Macon; Miriam Wingo of Auburn, Alabama; Lynn Rose of Byron; Connie Meservey of Warner Robins; Phyllis Meservey of Chelsea, Alabama; and Audrey Meservey of Warner Robins; uncles, John Meservey (Patricia) of Macon; and Steve Stake (Jennifer) of Palmetto, Georgia; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Miranda’s life will be private with masks required for all who have been invited. For family and friends, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/ on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Miranda Shiver Glenn to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, Georgia 31201.
