Monte James Thompson

Monte James Thompson, 45, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

Monte was born on July 24, 1975 in Macon, Georgia, to Brenda Kay Thompson and the late Monte Dale Thompson. Growing up, his favorite pastime was skateboarding. In later years, he enjoyed working alongside his father in many trades of construction and being with his family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Frances Causey.

His memory will forever be treasured by the two sons he loved dearly, Monte Raziel and Kross Sellers; mother, Brenda Kay Thompson of Macon; aunt, Gail Causey of Macon; half siblings, Sean and Phadrea Thompson; and many extended family members.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Monte Thompson. These gifts can be made payable to McCullough Funeral Home with “Monte Thompson Memorial Fund’ written in the memo line.
