Myrtle C. Rodgers

Myrtle C. Rodgers died Tuesday, July 2, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center in Americus, GA. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 5, at Cherokee Heights United Methodist Church in Macon with interment following in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Thursday at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Carrollton, Georgia. She was a member of Cherokee Heights Methodist Church in Macon. Her husband, Earnest N. Rodgers, and her parents, Luke R. Crawford and Evie Yancy Archer, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Robert “Mack” Vining, Centerville; sister, Mildred Gillespie, Atlanta; granddaughters, Laura Roberts, Hilton Head Island, SC; Cathy Flory, Cincinnati, OH; Betty Lundy, Fair Oaks, CA; grandson, Paul Vining, Hilton Head Island, SC; and four great-grandchildren.
