Myrtle M. Shepherd

Myrtle Shepherd, 86, entered into rest on Friday, July 26, 2013.

Mrs. Shepherd was born on March 12, 1927, in Chauncey, Georgia. A retired Civil Service Secretary, she gave forty-two years of dedicated service to Robins Air Force Base. She had many talents, most of which were cooking, vegetable and flower gardening, and she loved helping her family and friends. Second Baptist Church was her church home for over sixty years, and she was a member of the XYZ's. Her husband, McAdoo Shepherd and parents, Dennis and Doyle McCranie; two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Gerald Shepherd (Lynn), Bonaire and Wayne Shepherd, Warner Robins; two grandchildren, Todd Shepherd (Amy) and Shannon Shepherd McNeal (Michael); six great-grandchildren and one brother.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
