Nancy Lynn Johnson

Nancy Johnson, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Born on April 20, 1952, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Nancy was the daughter of the late Roy Sentell and Inez Crisp Sentell. She was a simple woman, the kind that would always go with the flow. If you were looking for Nancy, there was a good chance that you could find her cruising around Walmart. She went there so frequently that she always ended up running into old friends and making new friends with the employees. Nancy also enjoyed frequent dates to Huddle House with her fiancé. However, her favorite place in the world was Saint Simon’s Island where she could be found sitting on the pier “crabbing”. Nancy loved classic cars and taught her children a lot about them. She also loved goats, running around barefooted, and watching movies, especially Star Wars. A big fan, Nancy saw all of the Star Wars movies in theaters. Most importantly, Nancy loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Steven Eric Johnson.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Elizabeth Nerger (Ronald), and Jon-Michael Bemke (Lori) all of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Robyn Parsons, Jackson Petersdorff, Andrew Gambrell, Tyler Bemke, Tatum Bemke; and beloved fiancé, Walter Perry.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Farmhouse located behind McCullough Funeral Home.
