Newell Ledbetter

Newell M. Ledbetter, 75, entered into rest on Saturday, October 26, 2013.

Newell was born on July 28, 1938, in Robbinsville, North Carolina. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty years civil service. Newell was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over forty years. Newell started the Food Bank, served as a deacon and was a member of several Sunday School classes. His parents, Henry and Birdie Ledbetter, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Linda Ledbetter, Dewey, Oklahoma; sons, T. C. Ledbetter, Warner Robins, and Michael Ledbetter (Diane), Peachtree City, Georgia; brother, Jerry Ledbetter, Robbinsville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Kelly Torres (Josh), Craig Ledbetter (Emily), Tabitha Watters (John), Katie Ledbetter, Anneka Watters and Emily Ledbetter; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Trinity United Methodist Church Food Bank, 129 S. Houston Road, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
